Copland?s much loved, Pulitzer Prize-winning Appalachian Spring, in its original setting for 13 players, sets the stage for a concert overflowing with American spirit. At the heart of the program is a trio of songs based on Walker?s poetry and Klein?s music performed by JSU Chorale and soloist. Cade Chapel Chorale selections bring it home at the close and all are welcome for a post-concert chat.
