DANILO PÉREZ, BEN STREET, ADAM CRUZ TRIO: PANAMONK. "One of the most important jazz piano albums in history," wrote DownBeat about Grammy Award winner and Doris Duke Award Artist Danilo Pérez's groundbreaking 1996 recording Panamonk, a work now recognized as pivotal in the evolution of Latin jazz. This summer, Panamanian born pianist Danilo Pérez revisits the music of Panamonk on tour, performing Thelonious Monk's compositions through a Caribbean lens with all-star veterans Ben Street and Adam Cruz. When the trio performed this repertoire at Lincoln Center, The New York Times praised it as "exhilarating...moving...the essence was restrained, assured lyricism." Jimmy's features a full-service restaurant, and food is available for purchase at every performance. Doors open at 5:30 PM, when you can order dinner directly from your ticketed seat, no separate dinner reservations needed! Kitchen service runs from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
