The Boise State University Symphony Orchestra opens its season with "Lasting Memories," an all-strings concert exploring music shaped by reflection, remembrance, and the passage of time. The program journeys from the old-world elegance of Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances and the changing seasons of Michael Torke's Last, to the profound beauty of Mahler's beloved Adagietto from Symphony No. 5. Ernest Bloch's powerful Concerto Grosso No. 1 brings the evening to a stirring close, showcasing the richness, warmth, and expressive range of the string orchestra. Boise State University Students, Staff and Faculty are eligible for one complimentary ticket - please visit the Morrison Center Ticket Office with valid ID in ADVANCE of performance.
